Youth Groups

St. John’s has youth groups for young people from fourth grade and through "Twenty-Somethings."

4th and 5th graders and their friends. This group meets to praise, learn, offer service and prayer and enjoy food and play. Second Sunday Kids is led by several adults, and a number of teens assist with music, lessons and prayer. Each student is given “The Adventure Bible.”
The Middle School Youth Group encompasses 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The highlights for this year were snow tubing and the overnight which was held at the church. This year they are meeting on the first Saturday of every month, for worship, praise band, sharing a meal and participating in a program. Check out our calendar for this month's activity.
Our Senior High Youth Group meets monthly during the school year to enjoy
fellowship, food, and conversation about many different topics. This past year included service projects such as helping with events at the church, making cards for the elderly and shut-ins and collecting Easter Dinners for Project Share. They also held fund raisers to assist in the cost of their pilgrimage to England last summer.
Our newest group is the Twenty-Somethings/College Age Adults which meets for Sunday brunch and follows a bible study model for discussion. Watch for exciting programs this fall.
