Souper Bowl Sunday
On Super Bowl Sunday we will again join with churches throughout the area in receiving a “Souper Bowl” offering. As you leave the church on your way to watch the game our teens will be holding the large kitchen bowls and invite you to empty your coins, drop some dollars, or write a check!! It is said that next to Thanksgiving Day, this is the day when we eat the most! So it is a good day to remember the many (over 1000 families in Carlisle) who receive food assistance at Project SHARE, our ecumenical food bank.
